French Connection is an international brand, offering high fashion items to fashion forward individuals. Having been in operation in Australia since 1998 this is a well established brand in the fashion industry.
Seed is an innovative childrenswear brand, with over 20 stores across Australia, and 1 store in Hong Kong. This brand was established in 2000 and is growing rapidly. This is an exciting brand to be part of as it leads the market in both product and VM.
The role of PR Coordinator is a fast paced and exciting role. Reporting directly to the PR Manager this role will be responsible for the effective Coordination of PR functions. Liaising with both internal and external parties on various projects this role will assist in achieving maximum exposure of both French Connection and Seed Brands. This includes:
- Manage all aspects of sending and following up on new products sent to media
- Maintain contact and build relationships with all relevant parties including stores, centre managements and media to maximize exposure of both brands
- Assist PR Manager in writing and distribution of press releases for new store openings, product launches and emails
- Coordinate events such as staff functions, in store events and VIP events
- Complete analysis and evaluation of success of marketing campaigns and promotional activity
- General Assistance to the PR Manager
A minimum of one year experience in a similar role is essential, as is tertiary qualifications. Great communication, time management and organizational skills are a must as is proficiency in word, excel and outlook.
