Ginger & Smart are a great Australian fashion label, making pathways for future Australian designers to succeed here and internationally.
Genevieve Smart, along with sister Alexandra started their label by designing "a small but selective mix of fashion accessory and lifestyle products and positioned ourselves in the most prestigious fashion stores in Australia" they expanded the fashion line into David Jones and department stores internationally by "proving we could deliver on time and provide fine quality pieces". They then opened their own retail store in William St, Paddington and then their second store at the uber fashionable Ivy, in Sydney alongside sass+bide, Peter Alexander, and Mimco.
